The Beginning
Received a laptop as a gift from my father—a dream come true—which led me to explore technology, gain technical knowledge, and discover that people were earning money online.
First Attempt at Blogging
Started my first tech blog out of my interest in writing, but after a year, the domain expired with no earnings, leading me to shift focus to YouTube, where I uploaded funny videos; however, due to a lack of storytelling and editing skills, the channel was discontinued.
Learning About Monetization
During the lockdown, I learned about blog monetization through ads, which led me to launch a new Hindi blog sharing stories about famous people and their history, where I used WordPress and gained skills in Web Design, SEO, and Graphic Design.
Blog Growth & SEO Skills
Despite my blog ranking with 60,000–70,000 visitors per month, earnings remained minimal (~$30) due to Hindi content, and although I dedicated 6–7 hours daily to blogging, financial success remained out of reach.
Pivoting to Design
As I developed website design, graphic design, and SEO skills, blogging no longer excited me, leading me to explore new creative fields.
Discovering Design
I learned Canva and practiced design for 1–1.5 years before transitioning to Photoshop, where I started designing from scratch.
First Steps as a Graphic Designer
Started getting small design projects, earning ₹50–₹100 per task, with no idea about standard pricing but enjoying the process of learning while earning.
Starting a Design Agency
Started my own two-man digital marketing agency in Pune, but due to a lack of communication with my partner and team members, the agency had to shut down.
Freelancing from Home
Now working as a freelancer from home, specializing in social media creatives, branding, and digital designs, where every challenge has refined my skills, fueled my passion for design, and prepared me to collaborate on amazing projects!
